We clean homes and offices, not reputations. This privacy policy isn't a legal shield; it's a clear brief on how we handle the information you share with us. Whether you're booking a post-construction deep clean in Usaquén or a weekly office visit in Chapinero, we treat your details with the same care we bring to a client's kitchen counter.

We don't sell data. We don't track you across the web. We use your contact info to confirm appointments, your address to dispatch our team, and your feedback to improve our service. That's it. No third-party analytics, no hidden cookies, no "partners" looking for a lead.

What We Actually Collect

Contact Information

Name, phone number, and email address. We use this to confirm bookings, send arrival updates, and share post-service photos. No newsletters, no cold calls, no automated spam.

Our take: We delete unsolicited inquiries within 30 days if no booking follows.

Service Address & Access

Full address, floor, access codes, elevator restrictions, and parking notes. This ensures our team arrives on time and prepared. Stored encrypted; accessible only to dispatch and the assigned crew lead.

Our take: We never share access details with third parties, even for "references."

Payment Records

Transaction IDs, last 4 digits of cards (processed via our payment provider), and invoice history. We keep these for tax compliance and to resolve disputes—never for marketing.

Our take: We prefer card payments for traceability, but accept cash for privacy-conscious clients.

Photos & Feedback

Before/after photos and optional testimonials. We always ask for verbal consent before photographing personal items. Feedback is published only with explicit permission and can be removed anytime.

Our take: We blur faces and sensitive items in shared photos; raw files are deleted after 7 days.

Why We Need It (And What We Don't Do)

Every piece of data has a job. Your phone number ensures the crew arrives at the right door. Your address determines which supplies we load—eco products for homes with pets, stronger solutions for post-construction. Your email gets you a photo confirmation so you can approve the work remotely.

  • Sell to lead brokers or "partner networks"
  • Feed third-party analytics platforms (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel)
  • Retarget you with ads across Bogotá
  • Build profiles for "future services"

If we ever need to use data for something new, we'll ask first. You can always say no, and you'll still get the same level of service.

You Control Your Data

Access & Portability

Request a copy of all data we hold on you. We'll send it in a readable format (PDF or CSV) within 5 business days.

Correction & Deletion

Update your address, phone, or email anytime. Ask us to delete your history—we'll comply unless required for tax records (last 3 years).

Revoke Consent

If you previously allowed photos for marketing, you can withdraw that permission. We'll remove the images within 48 hours.

File a Complaint

Not satisfied with our response? You can lodge a complaint with the Colombian data protection authority. We'll provide all correspondence to support your case.

Security, Sharing & Retention

Encryption & Access

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted to dispatch and the assigned crew lead. No one else at shinemode sees your full address or payment details.

Sharing Policy

  • Payment processors (for transaction verification)
  • Our cleaning team (address, access, and special notes only)
  • Legal authorities (only if subpoenaed)

We never share contact details for "co-marketing" or "referral programs."

Retention Timeline

Contact & address: 2 years after last service. Payment records: 3 years (tax law). Photos: 7 days. Feedback: until you request removal. If you have no active bookings and no outstanding payments, you can request full deletion anytime.
